Sabriolet Designs Felt Pouch

My friend Kymberlee had the most amazing gifts for my friends and I this past weekend.  Each of us received these really cute felt bags and pouches that you can use for just about anything.  I immediately thought it would be a great thing to personalize it and since I have some new heat transfer vinyl I decided to give it a go.  I absolutely adore flourishes and I have been collecting them in the Silhouette store ever since I bought my Cameo months ago. Combine that with some more flocked vinyl and this turned out really, really well.  I think I'm going to keep my receipts and such in it for my crafting purchases.

My flocked vinyl Panda

Isn't he cute?  I was playing around with my flocked vinyl and though this would be the perfect image to try it out on.  My Silhouette cut it like butter.  I added a few accents, and ribbon and here it is.  Very cute if I do say so myself.

Project Life - Weeks Seven & Eight

So I finally got behind, and man, let me tell you I need to make sure that doesn't happen again.  I do NOT enjoy doing two weeks at a time so from here on out I am doing my best to do just a little bit of work every couple of days to make sure that doesn't happen again.

It has been an interesting two weeks around here.  A big business trip for my husband and a washing machine that caught on fire.  Never a dull moment . . .

The Great Escape! - Card Patterns No. 153

I thought I would do something a little different for this week's Card Patterns sketch challenge.  Instead of making a card, I decided to make a scrapbook page.  I actually took these pictures this past Saturday (quick camera to page right?) and I really like the way this turned out.  The papers are bright and vibrant and looking at this one makes me happy.  You can't ask for much more than that right?  So you see the sketch to the left, and the page is right underneath it.

Case Study No. 78

I decided to give this week's Case Study challenge a go.  I'm actually in quite the card making mood lately.  I think I'll have several more of these done in the next few days.  I picked up a paper pack that I've had for several years and have never used. I know I'm not the only one with these little gems sitting around am I?  I have also been looking at the geometric design in the Silhouette store for quite some time and since this card had a square and sort of geometric look to it I thought I would go ahead and use it.   The rest is fairly simple, some ribbon, some flowers and a Verve stamp.  I haven't used these in a while and I had forgotten how great they are.

More Valentine's Day Goodness

Here they are!  Han Solo frozen in carbonite Valentines.  My oldest son handed these out to the boys in his class today.  I reminded him that girls like Star Wars too, after I was the one who introduced him to the series!  He didn't care though.  The girls got hearts and the boys got Han Solo, which I should be happy with because I had to melt these one at a time.  Please someone talk me off the ledge next year before I begin a twenty hour project forty-eight hours before they are due.
