Happy Sunday everyone. These are scrapbook pages I started yesterday afternoon ad finished up this morning I know it really hasn't been that long, but it seems like a while since I put together a double layout. I had intended it to be a single page, but I couldn't cut down the number of pictures I wanted to use so I just decided to give myself a bigger canvas. This double layout covers the trip my son and I made to IKEA when we were in Florida this past summer. He had to sit in ALL the chairs, and after while I decided to take pictures of him doing it. We ended up having a great time and as a result of this *game* it was the easiest shopping trip ever. Here are the first pages:
And here is the second page for my Mom:
I've entered this pages in the Cricut Circle weekly challenge. The challenge is to use a border. I created the border by welding the shadow image of the chair (from Sentimentals) together. It's a different take on a border and I think I really like the way it turned out. I also entered these pages in the Paper Craft Weekend Challenge blog. The challenge is to use your stash and I am thrilled to say I didn't purchase a thing for these pages. In fact, I used the border sentiment that I bought months ago and have been drooling over since then. I am glad I was finally able to work it into a project!
