Hello April! I sure wish spring would show up! It's been cold and rainy, and we even had to postpone our neighborhood Easter egg hunt because of the rain, everyone's lawn is soaking wet. Sigh. Even though it doesn't feel very springy outside, I created this page featuring my husband and my son who just learned how to ride his bike sans training wheels. My husband took him down to the island for a long weekend last month and he was off and riding within 15 minutes of starting. Yet another milestone, and yet another new beginning for him. I used this month's DCWV stack-a-holic sketch challenge sketch. It's from the amazing designer Susan Stringfield. It's been a while since I played with one of her sketches and it was as fun as it's ever been. The paper is from DCWV's new stack Sunday Afternoon. This is one of their new releases and you can find it at your local Michael's. I was happy to find some paper that although it has quite a bit of pink throughout, I can still make it work for a page for my guys.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Wonderful LO, Sabrina. And congrats to your son on this milestone. I love everything about this LO and how you make a hint of pink work for masculine LOs. The cutouts are so intricate and I love the yummy half M&Ms (at least that's what they looked like to me). Hope you had a wonderderful Easter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous layout!! I love the design and embellishments you used!! The papers are beautiful!! This is fabulous!! Congrats to your son for riding without training wheels!! Happy Monday :)
