I told you there were more cards. This is set No. 2. I decided to try to make some inset cards. Again inspired by Pinterest, but a decent enough departure from the original. As I mentioned before, I still have plenty of Christmas themed supplies left. I made four of these babies and gave them to Brandy. She says she can never have enough Christmas cards and she's planning on taking (and using) every Christmas card I make over the next month or so. But she has put in a bit of sweat equity so I am not complaining.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi is there a cardrige that you use to cut the Merry Christmas out?
ReplyDeleteHi Vickie. I did not use a cartridge. I just picked a font and used my Silhouette to weld it to the card. Hope that helps!
DeleteThese are pretty cool! I might have to try that technique on a card or a scrapbook layout.
ReplyDeleteGreat Christmas card!!! Love it!!

LOVE your card! May I ask the name of the cool fonts you picked??
ReplyDeleteHi Tami. The "Merry" is actually a Papertrey Ink die. And I am so sorry I don't remember which font I used for "Christmas". Looking at it though I would guess it's one of the many KG fonts I have and use quite often. If you have a Silhouette I would be more than happy to share the file with you, just send me an email.
