Where does the time fly? My best friend's little boy turned two not long ago and in honor of his birthday I made him a scrapabook page. Well, I made his mother one. He would probably just try to eat it. Or vacuum it. That's really what he's into right now.
I did something a little different with this one - going with a simple block pattern. But I wanted it to have tons and tons of texture so I decided to add buttons and a bunch of little glittery pieces that I received as a RAK. Using my stuff, using my stuff . . . I used DCWV's newest birthday stack. It's such a bright and fun paper. Turns out that the paper warped a little because I got it a bit too wet. I might have been slightly heavy handed with the glossy accents I used to adhere the buttons and glittery gems. Oh well, it still looks good and Brandy is happy to have something commemorating Nico's big day.
Thanks for stopping by!
I love the dimension in this LO! I am definitely going to scraplift this idea! TFS!

What a bright and cheerful layout! Great way to use up embellies! It never would have occurred to me to use Glossy Accents to adhere buttons to a page. Thanks for the tip!

Love all the colors and all the embellishments. But you know that I am an embellishment queen - you inspired me to consider putting the buttons in color order. Consider being the key word... Thank you - the kids loved it.
