You know what I haven't done in a long time? I haven't sat down to make a card with no real occassion in mind. I haven't created anything just for the sake of creating, or playing with some new toy or paper, etc. I did that tonight. I picked up my very first pack of Paper Smooches stamps a week ago and I wanted to make a card so I could use them. I don't have a great need for any of these cards right now, but it feels good to make something just for the sake of making something, ya know? The design is inspired by a card created by Jackie from Rockwell Designs. You guys know I love negative space. I used that along with the Silhouette Sketch feature to create my focal point, a daisy bouquet that I found in the Silhouette store some time ago. The frames are all Silhouette print and cut digital patterns. They have had a lot of really cute designs in the store lately so this was my opportunity to play around with a few of them. Okay, okay I will shut up - here are the cards:
Paper: JoAnn's Kraft Paper, Epson Premium Presentation Matte Paper (AMAZING results with my Epson printer), Bazzill Smooth cardstock, Bazzill textured cardstock
Silhouette: Patterns, flower (sketch) image - all print and cut
Thanks so much for stopping by!
