You're Pretty Amazing

These are two more cards I made while I was on vacation.  It was inspired by this card by Jackie Rockwell, one of my favorite card designers.  I am really trying to incorporate more texture into my cards and I was happy to use a part of a cork sheet made by Canvas corp.  They won't cut in an electronic die cutting machine, but I can cut them out using my spellbinders dies.

The second card is a quick clean and simple card.  I am in love with flourishes at the moment so I pulled out my flourish stamps from Waltzingmouse stamps and used it on this card.

Paper:  Amy Tan's Sketchbook; DCWV Art of Type, Canvas Corp Cork adhesive sheet
Stamps:  Cas-ual Friday stamps, Waltzingmouse stamps
Flower:  Recollections stamps
Spellbinders:  ovals, beaded ovals, squares

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I'm so glad you liked my card Sabrina! What a wonderful way to use cork. I was wondering whether we could cut it with the Cameo or not. I haven't tried to yet. Very pretty cards, I love the bold vibrant colors of the first and the soft delicate look of the second!
