A Merry Lantern

Every year my crafty friends and I get together and do a gift exchange.  The rules are simple - $25 minimum gift purchase (however you are allowed to shop from your stash) and you must make an item.  Many of you might remember that I received this absolutely spectacular set of pins last year from my elf Caroline.  Turns out this year it was my turn to be her elf.  I started three times before I finally came up with something that I was in love with.  I etched a holiday lantern for her, and to keep it current and trendy the main theme was chevrons.  Here it is:

 

All images are from the silhouette store.  Today we did our big reveal and I think my elf is happy.  I hope she loves this lantern as much as I do!
