A Birthday Card for My Sister

Hey now, didn't we just do this?  Well yes we did!  I have three sisters total, and two of them have birthdays in December so I'm back at it again, only this time it's for my baby sister.  She is turning twenty-one soon!  It's a memorable birthday so I wanted to create something special.  Only I had the hardest time with this card.  I started with something totally different. It was supposed to have these sparkly high heel shoes and be a testament to her fabulousness (yes, I know I just made that word up), only I couldn't get it together to save my life.  I wasted so much paper I'm almost embarrassed.  My trash can was empty when I started and now, well, not so much.  I finally scrapped the whole thing, pulled out a spellbinder die set that I have been wanting to use, some paper that I really, really like, and figured I would cut everything out and just start layering.  It still took forever!  But I am really happy with the final product and it has the appropriate level of glitter that my sister requires.

Recipe:
Paper:  The Paper Studio:  Ooh! La! La!, DCWV Dazzle Stack, Bazzil basics

Spellbinders:  Ornate Artisan Tags & Accents
Stamps:  Papertrey Ink (Happy Birthday)
Miscellaneous:  Heart on gift card holder - K & Company, XOXO - Archiver's die cuts
