More Simplicity - Waltzingmouse # 67

It's Saturday and fall is definitely upon us.  My boys played soccer this morning with temperatures in the 50s.  They thought it was sooooooo cold, and it took everything for me not to roll my eyes at them.  I, of course, walked to school in snowstorms, uphill for miles and miles - both ways.  Kids these days!  They have no idea how easy they have it! The good news is that everyone persevered.  Soccer was played, drinks were had, and no one lost any toes.  And what we have now is a lazy Saturday afternoon and a new Waltzingmouse sketch to play with!  Given the amount of color and patterns I have been working with over the past few days I decided that I wanted to make something stripped down and neutral.  Here is my card:

This card is an A2 size - 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.  The design is super, super, simple.  I used two types of paper, one ink pad, three stamps, one embossing folder, and three spellbinder dies.  It took less than an hour.  A record for me!

Recipe:
Paper:  Stampin' Up
Spellbinder Dies:  Lotus Pendant, Inverted Scallop Circles, Circles
Stamps:  Waltzingmouse Dainty Doilies (doily), Large Circles (Thanks), Flourishes (flourish under Thanks)
Embossing folder:  Stampin' Up
Ink:  Stampin' Up - Chocolate Chip

Thanks for stopping by!
