Luca Is . . . Breathtaking

Happy Sunday everyone.  It's a cool autumn day here in Georgia and I am thrilled because I started a scrapbook page last night and I was able to finish it this morning.  Normally it takes me several days to work through pages like this but apparently I am moving right along!  This is a page featuring my best friend's son, Luca.  I am continuing to fill her scrapbook, which I think at this point has like, three pages in it.  But hey, if someone else is doing it you don't complain right?  She loves me and is happy that I have included her children in my scrapbooking passion so she doesn't complain.  Much.

So, onto the page.  As almost always, I started with a sketch.  This one is from Twisted Sketches.    As you can see I changed up the layout of the pictures somewhat and added some different shapes.  I used my new Paper Lace 2 cartridges for the background decorative mat, and of course Flower Shoppe for the flowers and leaves.   I really love the way this one turned out.  I'm not sure why I was able to get it done so quickly but I'll take it and move on to the next thing!
