A New Discovery

I got my scrapbooking mojo back.  I wasn't thrilled with my last page, but I love this one. Sherry Stringfield from Sketch Savvy posted the cutest sketch this past week and it was just perfect for this layout.  These are pictures of my youngest son at that same aquarium trip.  He is petting the stingrays, which for him, is a VERY big deal.  Another example of just how far he has come over the past several years.  Here is the sketch:

And here is my page:

I was hoping my sister would have come home with tickets from the aquarium, but no, all I had to work with was a map.  I decided to use it as the top layer for the banners.  I think it looks really good!

Recipe:
Paper:  DCWV Silky Smooth cardstock, Echo Park Happy Days:
Silhouette:  Title, banners, doily and assorted fish and journaling tag (P&C)
Misc:  Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Wow your page is just AWESOME! Love the colors and the detail is just awesome! Love it! Be sure to enter it in the weekly challenge at She's A Sassy Lady today before 4 (closes then). I have to tell you this aquarium is one of my favorite places to go! I love the petting area and I think I have more fun than the children! TFS this awesome page and stirring up wonderful memories of our trip there.
