This was a quick and dirty scrapbook page I put together this past Friday. My new Art Philosophy cartridge arrived and I was eager to play with it, specifically the flowers. I used this sketch savvy sketch (#63) and replaced the circle with a flower doily that is on the cartridge. The doily cut turned out very nicely. It will probably go very well on a card, which I will keep in mind for the future. I also cut the flowers from the Art Philosophy and added a chipboard *smile* that I had in my stash. The flowers are not as easy to wrap as the flowers on Flower Shoppe. I'm going to have to play with these a while in order to really get the hang of them. But, even with the difficulty I had, I do like and appreciate this cartridge's distinctively different flowers. Overall, I have to say, I'm not in love with this page, but I can't expect to hit it out of the park each and every time. So, it's done - and because I only had one picture, there's no double this time, which is okay. This is one of my favorite pictures of my son (cut out with Spellbinder's dies) and it's passable for my personal book. Who knows, years from now I might actually decide I like it.
Thanks for stopping by!
