Merry Christmas & A Vampire Card - Card Patterns Sketch Challenge No. 140

I am alive! I am alive!  I haven't posted much recently because I've decided to take it a bit easy over the next couple of months.  For a while there I was churning out projects left and right, but lately, I feel like enjoying the fall with my family, so I've been working on things a little here, there, and well sometimes not at all.

What I have for you today, is a card I prepared for the Card Patterns Sketch Challenge Blog.  Several weeks ago, I used a Card Patterns sketch to make my husband's birthday card and believe it or not the card was that week's winner!  As a result, I am a guest designer at Card Patterns today and I am thrilled at the opportunity.  I also get two new purty badges to add to my award wall.  Yes, I love them!

All right, let's get to it.  Here is the the sketch and the card I made for this week's challenge.  My husband calls it my Vampire Card

I have been toying around with working with negative space.  My plan was to play around with that after I finished the card for this challenge but I changed my mind.  This is actually the second card I made for this sketch.  I didn't like the first one so much, so I decided to go ahead and try to work in some of my other ideas with this one.  I have to say I don't absolutely adore it, but I do like it much more than the first card I made.
