Still Waters Run Deep

My mother in law takes the best pictures of my boys.  No matter how hard I try I never ever get shots like she pulls off without any effort at all!  So, lately she's been taking most of the pictures and I do the scrapbooking.  This picture is one of my absolute favorites.  She took my boys to the Botantical Gardens and she snapped this photo while they were both playing in the water.  So very beautiful.

This is another double creation although the differences are subtle.  I used the same paper pack for both, SEI's Chocolat, which I adore.  I picked up this sheer fabric/ribbon at JoAnn's this past week and was excited to actually work it into a page.  I am annoyed that you can't see the layer underneath it very well, but that's my gluing error!  A few other notes about this page, I wasn't really up to making a bunch of flowers so all of the ones you see are Prima flowers that I've been collecting forever.  The leaves I did cut from Flower Shoppe.  Also, the flourish is cut from Art Philosophy. The only other Cricut cut is "waters" and "run" from Opposites Attract.  See this is what happens when I find something I like? - I use it over and over again.  The dark brown stitched letters are Thickers, and the fabric letters are Amy Tangerine.  Last but not least, I accomplished my journaling but cutting out a shape using a Spellbinders die - blossom.  Spellbinders to the rescue again!!

Recipe:
Paper:  SEI Chocolate, Cricut Imagine - Audrey
Cartridges:  Opposites Attract (font), Flower Shoppe (leaves), Art Philosophy (flourish)
Spellbinders:  Blossom
Flowers:  Prima
Ribbon/fabric: JoAnn's
Chipboard letters:  Thickers, Amy Tangerine fabric letters, SEI Chocolat

I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by!!
