Well, what's a Sweet Sixteen gift without a card? Tacky I say!! What's a girl to do? I can't have my BFF looking bad so I spent this evening putting this one together for her. I picked up a K & Company paper pack months ago that I have been dying to use. It's called Jubilee and it's full of rich floral inspired papers. I am thrilled to finally have a use for it. The hip young girl is from the Forever Young cartridge and I cut the font out using my MTC program and my new favorite font - albemarshwash. I know, crazy sounding, but beautiful looking! I picked it up on one of the free front sites a month or so ago. You guys are going to have to humor me, you're going to be seeing a whole lot of this font in the upcoming months! Ha, you already saw it on the Live, Love, Laugh vases! I added a little ribbon, some pop dots for dimension and finally, blinged out the title and added one big black flower. What did we before bling? I really can't remember. I think it looks great. It's definitely one of my better cards. I would have loved to get one of these when I was sixteen. I hope Caroline likes it.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Great card Dayna! I think I posted about it on the smartbuy forum.
ReplyDeleteYou asked about a font on my wine glasses. I figured it would be easier to respond here. I used scriptina in the first photo and the Curlz font on the "Diva Style" wine glass. HTH!

Thanks so much Nicole! I found them and downloaded them.
ReplyDeleteLove the card and I am sure Caroline did too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim! Her party is this weekend. I am excited to hear what she thinks of her gift.
