A few weeks ago, while perusing the Two Peas In a Bucket forum I finally took the time to look at one of the threads about Project Life. I had seen the name tossed around quite a bit but had never taken the time to really find out what it was. It took me to this site, Becky Higgins, who has created a way to scrapbook everyday life, and hopefully make it easy. Now is this new? Probably not, I am firmly convinced that just about everything in the crafting world has been done in some form or fashion before, and 365 photo retrospectives have been around for quite some time. But it's new to me, and hey, Becky packaged it well so I bought it! I do think though, this will be a great way to catch all of those little things I miss. I am well aware of my scrapping style - it tends to be a bit busy and elaborate, and well, its takes time to come up with those pages. I love them, but there is so much more going on here and often times I don't take the time to do the journaling that I should. I am really hoping that this project helps me with that. I'm looking at it this way - what a fabulous time capsule this will be in just a few short years. So with that in mind, it's probably not all going to be cheery. Life around here is hard sometimes, and it would be silly to pretend otherwise. Because I was so excited about this project I started a week early - on Christmas Day. My goal is to feature at least one picture a day and so far so good! If I can, I am going to update my progress here weekly, hopefully on Wednesdays where I will share my week's worth of photos with you. I finished the title page today and I am very excited to finally post it!
