Tada! I'm on time with my Project Life blog post! I'm on time with my Project Life blog post! Okay, barely. It's actually almost 11:00 at night and I know I should be in bed, but here we are. I had finished most of Week three up last week but that one last picture had to be edited and as always I needed (okay wanted) to add a little bling here and there. It's so HARD for me to leave these pages flat. But I know if I'm going to get 53 weeks in this album I have to be good. Encouraging words would be appreciated . . .
You will have to forgive my off to the side watermark on a few of the pictures. That's what happens when you forget to rotate the pictures before you watermark them. Oops! I told you I shouldn't be up so late posting. Anyway, the article below is something that I was posted on another message board that I frequent. It's a blog entry by a woman named Glennon and it's a powerful message about motherhood and well the daily grind of it all. It really reasonated with me because life around here isn't always so rosy. I have two very high needs kids and there are some days, many days when my favorite part of the day is bedtime. Glennon talks about letting go of feeling guilty for feeling that way. This is no cakewalk people. Anyway, for anyone interested, you can find Glennon's wonderful blog post here on her blog - it's definitely worth taking the time to read.
I created this title page using my Silhouette P&C feature. This is an Ali Edwards' file and I added a tag and date in the Studio software.
I could say more, but I need to get to bed. I am still having a great deal of fun with this project and hope that continues for the weeks to come.
